Fading Beauty- Inspirational Fine Art Print

Oh thank you! Someone complimented it on Facebook, so I'll post what I said about it here to give a little background: (I'm a 40-ish year old divorcee' by the way) This is from the collection that I named "Fading Beauty." I watched that rose throughout its growing season last year and snapped this photo near the end of its life cycle. It's one of my favorite pieces because it has such a personal meaning to me. Making the choice to leave my husband of 18 years naturally caused a VERY rough emotional period for the end of 2009 and part of 2010. LOTS of self-doubt... bitterness... insecurity... periods of low self-esteem. The quote came about because it was taken during a time after walking out when I was FINALLY getting past my deep-rooted feelings of insecurity... I was at the point that I was feeling good about myself and had come to terms with the fact that I may be getting older... things may not be as pretty as they used to be... I may not look like Pamela Anderson... but I'm still dang sexy in my own way. ;) Even though looks change throughout the years, my vibrant personality, loving nature and great sense of humor will ALWAYS be the essence of who I am.
